Account settings

The two tabs

The Settings page splits into two tabs. Account gathers your profile, your display preferences, your sign-in methods and your personal data, which is what this page describes. Access tokens manages the personal tokens that authenticate your scripts and your AI client, covered on the MCP and access tokens page.

Profile information

The Profile information card shows your name, email, sign-up date (“member since”) and how many organizations you belong to. These are the basic details of your account.

Time zone

Pick your time zone (IANA list, e.g. Europe/Paris) then Save. This setting applies everywhere in the console: every date and time (deployments, invoices, metrics…) is shown in your zone. Defaults to UTC.

Language

Pick the console language, French or English, then Save. The choice is stored on your account: it follows you from one device to the next, whatever your browser language is.

Connected accounts

The Connected accounts card lists your sign-in methods and lets you link or unlink them:

• Email + password, set a password the first time (no current password needed) or change an existing one (the current password is required).
• GitHub, connect your GitHub account for one-click sign-in (if enabled on the instance).
• Google, connect your Google account for one-click sign-in (if enabled on the instance).

You must always keep at least one active sign-in method: the last one cannot be removed.

Security

Settings > Security is where you manage two-factor authentication and passkeys for password-free sign-in.

Two-factor authentication (TOTP)

Enabling two-factor authentication takes three steps:

• Confirm your current password.
• Scan the QR code with your authenticator app and enter the 6-digit code it generates.
• Save your one-time backup codes, they are shown only once.

Turning two-factor authentication off asks for your password again as confirmation.

Platform admin accounts must have two-factor authentication enabled. An admin without it is redirected to Settings > Security with a banner prompting them to set it up.

Once enabled, signing in with email and password is followed by a challenge screen asking for your 6-digit code, or one of your backup codes as an alternative.

Passkeys

Add a passkey to sign in with your device biometric or a security key instead of a password. Registered passkeys are listed with the date they were added and a button to remove them.

Once you have added a passkey, the sign-in page shows a Continue with a passkey button next to Google and GitHub.

Privacy and data

The bottom of the Account tab gathers what you can do with your personal data.

Export my data

The Export my data button downloads a JSON file with the personal data Pierrr holds about you: your profile, your linked sign-in accounts and your organization memberships. There is nobody to ask, the file is produced on the spot.

Delete my account

Deleting permanently erases your account and your personal data, and signs you out right away. It cannot be undone. Four rules frame the operation:

• Your primary organization goes with the account, projects, containers and domains included.
• If you are the sole owner of one or more other active organizations, deletion is refused: transfer ownership or delete those organizations first.
• Confirmation asks for your current password, then for a confirmation word to type. If you signed up through GitHub or Google only, leave the password field empty.
• Invoices already issued are kept, solely to meet legal accounting retention obligations.
