Custom domains

The domain list

The Domains page lists every domain in the organization. Each row shows the apex, the DNS status (with the resolved IP), the number of bound services, the date added, and actions (view details / delete). The counter at the top recalls your quota.

Add a domain

From the dashboard, open Domains and click Add a domain. The wizard guides you in three steps:

• Type your apex domain (e.g. acme.com).
• Copy the A record we display and add it at your DNS provider (Cloudflare, OVH, AWS Route 53…).
• Wait for verification, the wizard polls DNS every 5 s and moves to the next step automatically once your domain resolves to the Pierrr IP.

Verification & status

The Domains table shows the current DNS status. The Verify now button forces an immediate re-check. The four possible states:

• Pending, the domain was just added; DNS does not resolve to the Pierrr IP yet.
• Verified, DNS points at Pierrr; the domain is usable and its certificate is issued.
• Resolution failed, the DNS probe did not find the expected record (missing record or incomplete propagation).
• Drifted, the domain was verified but DNS no longer points at the Pierrr IP; routing may be interrupted.

Bind to a service

Once verified, bind the domain (or a subdomain) to one of your project containers. Pierrr configures the routing instantly.

Every served host needs its own DNS record. The apex A record covers the apex alone: neither "www" nor any other subdomain. To serve "www.acme.com", bind the "www" subdomain to a service, then add the matching CNAME pointing at the apex. The domain page always lists every expected record, apex and bound subdomains included.

SSL certificates

Pierrr issues a Let's Encrypt certificate automatically as soon as DNS is verified, and renews it well before expiry. You don't need to do anything.

The number of domains you can attach is part of your plan. Hover the counter on the Domains page to see your current usage.
