AI assistant

An AI panel, floating or docked on the right of the dashboard, answering your questions about the hub and proposing actions.

The assistant panel is temporarily unavailable: it has been put on standby and no longer appears in the console. This page describes what it does and stays online ahead of its return. No reactivation date is announced for now; in the meantime, the MCP server already lets you drive your hub from an AI client.

What is the assistant?

The AI assistant is a dashboard panel. It understands your organization's context, answers your questions about the hub and proposes concrete actions to move faster. Do not confuse it with the migration assistant (the Migrate a project screen), described in the Migrations page.

Open the panel

A floating button opens the panel. By default it appears as a floating window above the page; the Dock right button pins it to the side of the dashboard, and Floating mode detaches it again. Close puts it away. You keep your working screen visible while you chat.

Enter sends the message, Shift+Enter adds a line break. If no provider is available, your usage limit is reached or the provider fails, the panel says so in the conversation and you can try again.

The open, empty panel: title and dock and close buttons at the top, empty state in the middle, input area at the bottom.
The panel in floating mode, with an exchange about the state of the projects. The dock button at the top pins it to the side.

Reads and actions

The assistant does more than answer: it can act on your hub.

  • Reads (listing projects, checking a status, reading metrics) happen automatically, without confirmation.
  • Sensitive actions (deploy, restart, change a secret, create a domain) appear in a card: nothing runs until you click Run. When the action can describe its effect in advance (delete a project, restart an app), the card first shows that preview, computed on exactly what it displays; clicking Run then carries the action out for real. The card switches to Done, or Failed if the action did not go through.

The assistant has the same tools as the MCP server: apps (start, stop, build, replicas), backups, volumes, Redis, network groups, security scans, members and invitations, repositories, secrets and domain bindings.

A few example requests:

  • "Redeploy the latest version of my app."
  • "How healthy are my containers this week?"
  • "Add a custom domain to this project."
A question and the assistant's markdown reply. When an action is proposed, the assistant asks for your confirmation before acting.

Nothing sensitive happens without your approval. The assistant also applies your role's permissions: for example, restoring a backup, exporting a project or creating a container require write access to the project, which a Developer role does not have.

Cost

The assistant runs with a provider key configured for your organization, or with a usage quota included in your plan.

Your own key

With your own key, usage is billed directly by the chosen provider (Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini).

Included plan

Depending on your plan, a monthly usage quota is included. Once the quota is reached, the panel shows a message and the assistant stays unavailable until the next period.

The assistant's actions respect your permissions and stay scoped to your organization, exactly like the console.
