Pierrr hosts the applications of many people and organisations on shared infrastructure. This policy sets out what you can and cannot do with the service. It is part of the Terms of Service.
Prohibited content and uses
You may not use Pierrr to:
- host, distribute or facilitate unlawful content, including child sexual abuse material (zero tolerance, reported to the authorities), terrorist content, incitement to hatred or violence, and content that infringes intellectual property rights;
- distribute malware, phishing pages, scams or content meant to deceive people;
- send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) or host services used to send them;
- mine cryptocurrency without authorisation, or use resources abusively at the expense of other customers;
- carry out or facilitate attacks: denial of service, port scanning, intrusion attempts, open relays, or anonymising proxies open to the public;
- bypass isolation between customers, access another customer's data or probe Pierrr's infrastructure without authorisation (see the vulnerability disclosure procedure for good-faith reports);
- impersonate a person or an organisation;
- use Pierrr in a way that breaks applicable law, including economic sanctions and export controls.
Sensitive data and regulated activities
You remain responsible for the compliance of your application. If you process payment card data, health data or other data subject to specific rules, you must make sure the service, as described in our documents, suits your situation. We do not give any sector-specific compliance guarantee. Some activities (gambling, financial services, adult content) may need our prior written agreement.
Resources and the Free plan
Each plan has resource limits. The Free plan runs on shared servers and follows the sleep rules set out in the Terms of Service. Using a free plan to get around the limits of a paid plan, in particular by creating multiple accounts, is prohibited.
When a project's usage goes over its plan budget, the overrun rules of the terms apply: notice, countdown, then the applications are stopped. Bypassing the rate or usage limits of the API and the MCP server is prohibited.
Reporting abuse or unlawful content
To report abuse, an infringement of your rights or content you believe is unlawful, write to team@pierrr.com with "Abuse" in the subject line, stating: the address of the content, the nature of the problem, the evidence, your contact details and, if you rely on a right, your standing to act. We acknowledge receipt within 5 business days. Reports that are manifestly unfounded or abusive may be set aside.
This report serves as a notice under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065. We review it diligently, non-arbitrarily and objectively, and we tell you our decision and the ways to challenge it.
What we do when the rules are broken
Depending on the seriousness, we may: ask you to fix, remove or disable the content; limit a project's resources; suspend a project or an account; terminate the account. Where the security of the platform or of third parties is at stake, or where an authority asks us to, suspension may be immediate and without notice. We tell the account holder about the measure and the reason where the law does not forbid it. You can challenge a measure by writing to the address above. We may pass to an authority the information the law requires us to disclose.
When we restrict or remove content or suspend an account, we give the account holder a statement of reasons: the basis of the decision, the facts involved and the available remedies, including challenging it with us, reviewed by a member of our team, and going to court.
Repeat violations
An account with several established breaches of this policy may be terminated permanently.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service or the law. Material changes are notified as set out in the Terms of Service.
