This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) used by Pierrr on pierrr.com and app.pierrr.com, their purpose, and their lifetime. Pierrr sets no advertising cookies and does not sell your data.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a site, used to remember information between two pages or two visits. Similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) play a comparable role directly in the browser. We refer to all of them here as cookies.

Chat support
On plans that include chat support, the dashboard loads the chat service of our provider (Crisp, hosted in the European Union). It sets its own cookies to run the conversation and recognise your chat session; we pass it your email, name, organisation and plan so we can answer you. It is not loaded on other plans or on the public site.
Analytics cookies
Pierrr uses PostHog (hosted in the European Union) to measure product usage and improve it. By default, measurement is anonymous and cookieless (session-memory storage only). If you accept via the banner, analytics cookies (ph_*) are set and tied to your account, and session recording is enabled: sensitive fields (secrets, passwords, tokens) are always masked. These cookies have a maximum lifetime of 12 months.

How to manage cookies
You can change your choice at any time: clear the pier-analytics-consent cookie (or the site cookies) to bring the consent banner back, or block cookies via your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may degrade the dashboard experience.
