The 14-day trial now collects a card and converts into a subscription

A 14-day trial ended in a silent downgrade to the free plan. With no card on file, Stripe canceled the subscription when the trial expired and the organisation dropped back to Free while keeping every container created during the trial: the quotas shown no longer matched what was actually running. The card is now saved when the trial starts, so the subscription carries on by itself once the 14 days are over and quotas stay consistent.

A card is collected when you subscribe to a paid plan, but nothing is charged during the 14-day trial. Cancel before the trial ends from the Stripe portal and you pay nothing, with the organisation dropping back to Free. Otherwise the first payment goes through on day 15.
The 14-day trial is once per organisation. Once it has ended, whether it converted or was cancelled along the way, subscribing again starts as a paid plan with no fresh free period.
An organisation that drops back to Free above the limits gets 7 days to reorganise. After a cancellation or an unpaid invoice you get an email, then a reminder the day before the deadline. After that, only the resources above the Free plan are stopped: the oldest ones keep running and nothing is deleted, not code, volumes, databases or backups. Everything restarts once you resubscribe.
